For over a decade, Swig has been a beloved part of Pune’s nightlife, celebrated for its lively atmosphere and loyal patrons. When it was time to refresh this iconic venue, we took on the challenge of modernizing the space while keeping its familiar charm.

Our goal was to create a lighting design that revitalized the ambiance without losing Swig’s essence. By blending innovative solutions with a warm, inviting glow, we crafted an experience that speaks to both longtime visitors and new guests. The result is a transformed Swig that honors its legacy while inviting a fresh wave of energy.

After much contemplation, an inspiring design concept emerged in our studio: envisioning a line of light that meanders through the space. This dynamic line swirls and bounces, evoking the essence of light painting reminiscent of Picasso’s artistic flair.

By intertwining illumination with movement, we aim to create an immersive atmosphere that captivates the senses, transforming the venue into a vibrant canvas where light itself becomes an integral part of the experience. This innovative approach not only enhances the aesthetic appeal but also invites guests to engage with their surroundings in a whole new way

Minimizing ceiling fixtures and meticulously crafting the flow of light were essential to this project’s success. By focusing on seamless integration, we ensured that the lighting design felt organic, allowing the space itself to shine without overwhelming visual clutter. This careful balance created a clean, immersive environment where light flows naturally, enhancing the ambiance while maintaining the integrity of the design.

In the exterior space, the art of light took on a bolder character. With ample volume and height to play with, we let our creativity go a bit wild, pushing boundaries to transform the facade into something truly unique. The result? A lighting design that transcends function, resembling more an art installation than mere illumination. Here, light becomes sculpture, making a striking statement that invites passersby to pause and admire the dynamic interplay of form and glow.

The line of light extended into the smaller spaces, weaving through nooks and corners to create a continuous flow. Every angle became a selfie-worthy spot, inviting guests to capture moments against this playful, dynamic backdrop. The light itself became a part of the experience—turning each intimate corner into a frame-worthy scene that effortlessly blends ambiance with allure.
